Environmental Activities

I'm ready to make a difference!

As an alpine skier, I've always felt responsible for the environmental impact of ski courses,

particularly the need to cut down trees and disrupt natural landscapes.

Here are the small steps I've taken to help protect the environment.

On August 17, 2024, I contributed 13,000 eco-friendly, recyclable bamboo cups for a marathon event in Seoul, and the best part? Not a single tree was cut down in the process!

These cups were made from sustainably sourced bamboo, which regenerates quickly without harming the environment.

It felt amazing to be part of an event that prioritized both athletic excellence and environmental responsibility.

Leaves, often dismissed as green waste, are in fact valuable sources of cellulose,
the same key material used in paper production.

The pulp extracted from leaves serve as
a sustainable substitute for the traditional wood cellulose used in paper production.
